The origins of Hermann Fuchs dates back to 1934. The company traded in butcher's products, natural and artificial casings, and fine spices and supplies for customers in the Palatinate and Baden regions.

In the same year, the entrepreneurial couple Josef and Ruth Schwan founded a wholesale business for butchery supplies. In 1999, Hermann Fuchs OHG was taken over. This laid the foundation for today's globally active Schwan Group, which unites numerous companies under one roof.

Another milestone in this success story was reached in 2012 when Hermann Fuchs OHG expanded its product range by taking over the Hook Sauerkonserven, a specialist in pickled gourmet products.

In 2015, the Fuduu brand is launched, the online shop for end consumers. This is under the management of Adrian Arnold and Hendrik Schwan with a dedicated team. Fuduu offers a professional online shop to companies in this sector for efficient online sales. The Fuduu brand partners are NAFA Feinkost, Wild Feinkost, Brökelmann Ölmühle, Alles für die Wurst Shop, Friedr, Dick (knives and sharpening steel), Hook Sauerkonserven, Jagstfelder Sauerkonserven, Hauer Konserven.

Finally, in 2017, the Jagstfelder Sauerkonserven became Hermann Fuchs OHG business, which then rounded off its product range of pepper varieties and gherkins.

Today, numerous member companies operate under the Schwan Group and the signs continue to point towards growth.
